The organizers stayed faithful to their original objective, which was to create a family event, and so they always made a substantial place for youth activities, especially for those from 3 to 12 years of age. From 1989 they had their own festival with their own tent. Many performers came to it, among them Jacques Chauvin, Carmen Campagne and Julien Poulin. The visual artist Jean-Marie Michaud took part in several festivals. Coordinator Robert Chabot remembered his contribution
(audio). He emphasized the promising cooperation launched with the AJF in 1996, with the AJF youth site. He was sorry to have left his position as coordinator just at the point where teenagers and young adults were starting to get interested in the festival again
