Attempt at a Consortium
The Fête fransaskoise is orphaned by the CCF in 1998. It is at this point that the ACF makes its debut in the file. In October 1999, the CCF heads up a consortium made up of parties that want to see the festival survive. The ACF is not impressed by the ambivalence of the cultural organization towards making a financial commitment, but agrees to take part. The leadership of the CCF is called into question after its failure to organize the festival at Zenon Park in the summer of 2000. In August that year it is the ACF which invites l?Eau vive, the CCF and the AJF to form a provincial organizing committee.
